Our five senses are how we experience the world around us.
All our senses are affected by microgravity in different ways. Imagine living in a house the size of a football field with six other people. You come from different countries and speak different primary languages. You also work in your house and can never open a window or go outside without a spacesuit. This is what life is like aboard the International Space Station.

Spacelab Engineering Module
Spacelab was the scientific laboratory used aboard the Space Shuttle. Ten European nations contributed to the development of Spacelab through the European Space Agency and in partnership with NASA.
