New Exhibit

On display starting June 1st

People have imagined going to the Moon for thousands of years.

It was not until 1687 that Isaac Newton discovered the laws of motion and gravity that we began to understand space and how to get there. He showed that moving things will continue to move unless a force slows it down and that forces do not act by themselves. This law allows rockets to leave Earth for space.

Aerojet Rocketdyne RL10 Engine

The RL10 rocket engine is a highly regarded upper-stage engine used in various space missions. It utilizes liquid hydrogen and liquid oxygen propellants to provide efficient and reliable thrust, making it a critical component in launching satellites, exploring deep space, and powering interplanetary missions.
