Bena McClure

Bena graduated from Oklahoma University with a BA in Anthropology in 1975 while working in the OU History Museum on campus. She went on to become an Ophthalmic Technologist and Surgical Assistant for Dean McGee Eye Institute in Oklahoma City for 20 years.

After 5 years in Boston and 10 in Arizona, she moved to Colorado Springs to retire in 2016 and joined the Space Foundation Volunteer Program. Bena volunteers mainly in our ‘collections’ area and is also trained in running our Mars Robotics Lab.
