Event Details:

Let’s take a look at Earth and Mars from a new perspective..from space! Learn about Earth’s weather and sustainability, compare Earth’s land features to Mars, and discover water ice on the red planet. Join us for more STEM activities for the whole family too!

Activities include:

  • Special guest, Jeff Gonyea from the Zach and Zoey Adventures book series. He will be sharing with us the importance of satellites in studying Earth and other planets.
  • Science On a Sphere® presentation
    • Earth and Mars
  • STEAM-based (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts and Math) activities and crafts.
    • Weather simulations with NCAR satellites and Sally Ride EarthKAM in AGI Space Missions Simulation Laboratory
    • Explore Earth’s rising seas and land cover, and create a Martian headband in the Educational Activity Center
    • And many more activities!
