Summer of
Discovery

Beyond our Solar System

Join Space Foundation Discovery Center as we explore beyond our solar system!

Each Saturday from June 8 to August 31, we will explore the immense universe beyond the Milky Way. The cosmos is filled with galaxies containing more stars, exoplanets, and asteroids than we can imagine. Throughout the summer, learn about nebulae, black holes, dark matter, exoplanets and more through hands-on activities, demonstrations, and design challenges. Come uncover new mysteries with us as we travel from the speck of Earth into the vast space we call the universe.

  • Workshops, when offered, are on a first-come, first-served basis and there is a $5 activity fee in addition to Discovery Center's general admission.
  • Summer of Discovery workshops are designed for ages 7 and above.
  • Parents must accompany children.
  • Please see specific event dates below for workshop topics and details.
