Space Foundation Discovery Center Announces Summer of Discovery Programming and Newest Exhibit

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. — May 25, 2023 — Space Foundation, a nonprofit organization founded in 1983 for the global space ecosystem, today announced Summer of Discovery: Back to the Moon will be held at Space Foundation Discovery Center. Starting June 3, a sequence of 10 public, weekly events will take place every Saturday from 10 a.m.-4 p.m. through Aug. 5.

To launch Summer of Discovery, Space Foundation Discovery Center will open its newest exhibit, “Back to the Moon,” on Saturday, June 3. The new interactive exhibit explores humanity’s return journey to the Moon through the lens of scientific discovery and technological advancement, underpinned by the lessons learned in the Apollo program.
