Summer Family Star Party at Blodgett Open Space

Join Space Foundation as we partner with Trails & Open Spaces to bring our Summer Star Party to parks around the city.

We will look to the stars and discover the wonders of the universe. This event looks to create a fun, learning environment for the whole family and inspire the next generation of astronomy enthusiasts!

After a short hike into the park to a pre-determined destination with a TOPS guide, staff from the Discovery Center and astronomers with the Colorado Springs Astronomical Society will have telescopes at the destination for stargazing.

Please note: this event is AT Blodgett Open Space and not Discovery Center. The Blodgett Open Space south parking lot located off Blodgett Ranch Trail is temporarily closed. The Blodgett Open Space north parking lot on Woodmen Road remains open.
