Homeschool Days: Telescope Technology
Homeschool Days is specially designed for K-12 students and families to offer exciting hands-on activities and workshops throughout the Discovery Center.

Event Details:
Journey through the evolution of telescopes, from the earliest designs to NASA’s newest Nancy Grace Roman Space Telescope, while discovering the technology behind how telescopes collect and reflect light.
This fall, Homeschool Days will explore “Mission Innovation” through different hands-on STEM activities each month.
Join us for a 1-hour interactive workshop featuring hands-on STEM activities designed to inspire curiosity and exploration. Three workshop times will be offered to accommodate different schedules. Following the workshop, participants are invited to attend a special presentation on this month’s topic on our SOS.
Activities:
- Workshop 1: 10:30 – 11:30 a.m.
- Workshop 2: 12:30 – 1:30 p.m.
- Workshop 3: 2:30 – 3:30 p.m.
Note: Workshops limited to 30 students. First come, first serve at the Admissions Desk.
