Creating Your Space – Weather: Anemometer and Weathervane

Summer is here and Chrys wants to show you a few fun weather tools you can create at home to track the weather where you live!

If you would like to create your own weather tools, here are the supplies you will need.

For anemometer:

• Lesson plan (link below)
• 3 Straws
• 1 Toothpick
• 4 Dixie cups
• Push pin
• Scissors
• Tiny ball of clay/Play-Doh
• Tape

For weathervane:

• Paper plate
• Dixie cup
• Straw
• Push pin
• Unused pencil
• Cardstock or construction paper
• Scissors
• Pen
• Tape
