Space Foundation Launches Podcast Series Space4U
COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. (Jan. 24, 2019) – The Space Foundation announced today the launch of its new podcast series, Space4U, featuring conversations with a fascinating variety of space professionals. The subject matter derives from the Space Foundation’s new thematic calendar, which focuses on different space-related subject matter each month.

(Jan. 24, 2019) – The Space Foundation announced today the launch of its new podcast series, Space4U, featuring conversations with a fascinating variety of space professionals. The subject matter derives from the Space Foundation’s new thematic calendar, which focuses on different space-related subject matter each month.
In announcing the new podcast series, Rich Cooper, Space Foundation Vice President – Strategic Communications and Outreach, said, “Our intention with these podcasts is to better inspire, educate, connect and advocate for what the global space community is doing to make us all smarter about space. By sharing these conversations, we want people to see themselves reflected in their space program by the people who make those adventures possible.”
During January, the Space Foundation is examining human spaceflight and its first podcasts featuring conversations with:
- NASA’s senior photographer, Bill Ingalls, who has traveled the world capturing the launches, landings and people in today’s space program; and,
- Lou Ramon, a former NASA engineer who worked closely with astronauts Neil Armstrong and Buzz Aldrin on the Apollo 11 mission.
Future podcast themes will explore Astronomy (February), Mars (March) and Earth Science (April). A full calendar of podcast topics and presenters will be available at www.spacefoundation.org/what-we-do/space4u.
