Space Foundation Discovery Center Hosts See You Soon Celebration
COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. — Oct. 26, 2023 — Space Foundation, a nonprofit organization founded in 1983, offering information, education and collaboration for the global space ecosystem, today announced that its Space Foundation Discovery Center will host the See You Soon Celebration on Saturday, Nov. 18, from 10 a.m-4 p.m. This event will celebrate the exciting process of expansion and renovation to provide exciting new educational opportunities for our audiences locally and around the world.
From Sunday, Nov. 19, until early spring of 2024, Space Foundation Discovery Center will undergo a major remodel of the museum, ensuring visitors experience new and exciting opportunities for exploration and learning. Before that occurs, the team of Space Foundation Discovery Center is inviting the public to the See You Soon Celebration to enjoy interactive technology and an exclusive look at what to expect once the renovations are completed.

Admission: General admission, free workshops
Activities:
- Free educator-led workshops: 3D printing pens
- Explore Sphero mazes and obstacle courses
- Sign up to be a pen pal with a Discovery Center volunteer
- Participate in a variety of opportunities to share your favorite memory of the Discovery Center
All event admission tickets are entered into Discovery Center shop giveaways and drawings to be held at 12:00 p.m. and 2:00 p.m.
