Tesla’s Toolbox: Stellar Physics

Have you ever wondered what makes stars tick? What they’re made of? How do they change throughout their lifetime? Join us for the last Tesla’s Toolbox until the next school year to learn more about the twinkling lights in our night sky!

The Space Foundation Discovery Center is hosting two one-hour workshops all about stars and how they work at 11 am and 2 pm.

Stellar Physics Activities

Learn more about stars by:

• • Organizing stars by their brightness and temperature to learn how they evolve over time
  • Compare the size of stars to our own Sun to learn about the most giant objects in our universe
  • Learn about the ultimate fates of different stars and build your own ‘dead star’ to take home
