Ann Yoshida – “As a native to Hawai‘i, Ann Yoshida has a deep cultural love for water sports. The ocean has always played an identity building role in her life. After being paralyzed in February of 2000, she learned to access her life to its fullest potential as a 3 time world champion, a Paralympian, a doctor in occupational therapy and through her work in community development. She has set her sights on repainting the picture of disability.”
