Event Details:

Spring Break Space Adventures for kids ages 7 – 12.

This spring break, Space Foundation Discovery Center will be the Center of Discovery as we spend a week exploring in space “T.E.R.M.S.” – adventurers will spend a day each exploring Technology, Engineering, Rockets/Robots, Mars, and Space Exploration for a spring break full of wonder and engagement.

Spending Spring Break exploring in space “T.E.R.M.S.” means our adventurers will spend a day each exploring activities, experiments, and demonstrations in:

  • A Day of Technology: Coding, 3D printing, weather, and Earth science technologies
  • A Day of Engineering: Learn the Engineering process, design and build a spacecraft, fly your spacecraft, rescue your craft from a crash landing, and more…
  • A Day of Rockets & Robots: Build and launch different style rockets, program and compete with multiple robots
  • A Day of Mars: Explore the red planet just like NASA through satellites, rovers, landers, helicopters, and more…
  • A Day of Space Exploration: Discover the wonders of space: from our own Sun to the planets, dwarf planets, and the Kuiper Belt all the way out to exoplanets and galaxies
