The Discovery Center will be celebrating in honor of May the Fourth and taking a look at the science behind that galaxy far, far, away!

Event Details:

Make the jump to lightspeed and pack your favorite robot buddies as the Discovery Center journeys into the world of science fiction! We’ll be celebrating in honor of May the Fourth and will be taking a look at the science behind that galaxy far, far, away.

  • See the galaxy’s most famous locations during our Science On a Sphere®  presentations.
  • Roam a sandy planet in our Mars Robotics Lab experience.
  • Go hands-on with fun activities, or hang out with us in your favorite costume!*

Workshop: Lightsabers- Guests will use the science of circuits to create their own lightsaber take away.

  • Session a.m.    11:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m.
  • Session p.m.    2:00 p.m. – 3:00 p.m.

Workshops are on a first-come, first-served basis
$5 materials fee in addition to SFDC General Admission.
Parents must accompany children

*Face masks still required for all Guests, costumes or not, over the age of 2 in accordance with CDC guidelines
