Homeschool Days is specially designed for K-12 students and families to offer exciting hands-on activities and workshops throughout the Discovery Center.

How do we protect our astronauts as they explore outside far beyond our atmosphere? We need YOU to design a new spacesuit that can withstand the dangers of space!
This spring, Homeschool Days will explore “Living In Space” through different hands-on activities each month.
Activities:
- 10:30 a.m.–12:00 p.m. K–5th Workshop 1 and Workshop 2
- 12:00-12:30 p.m. Science On a Sphere® Presentation
- 1:30–2:00 p.m. Science On a Sphere® Presentation
- 2:00–3:30 p.m. K–5th Workshop 3 and 6th–12th Workshop 1
- 3:30-4:00 p.m. Science On a Sphere® Presentation
Note: The K-5th and 6th-12th workshops feature similar activities with scaled content and/or challenges for younger or older students. We encourage families to enroll their students in the workshop that is the best fit for them.
Note: In case of cancellation due to weather, this program will be rescheduled for Wednesday, February 11th.
