Homeschool Days is specially designed for K-12 students and families to offer exciting hands-on activities and workshops throughout the Discovery Center.

Event Details:
Homeschool Day offers STEM experiments and activities for students grades K-12 and families. The spring semester is exploring different fields of engineering and related careers in the space industry.
In March, use mechanical engineering to build pneumatic rockets and hydraulic-powered structures!
*NOTE: The K-5 workshop is the same as the March Tesla’s Toolbox*
$5 materials fee per student per workshop.
- 10:00 a.m.-4:00 pm: Come explore our exhibits, interactives, and labs, and meet other homeschool families
- 11:00 a.m. Workshop: Pneumatic Rockets (Grades K-5 recommended)
- 12:30 p.m. Workshop: Pneumatic Rockets (Grades K-5 recommended)
- 2:00 p.m. Workshop: Pneumatic Rockets (Grades 6-12 recommended)
Note: We offer similar workshops in the morning and afternoon, scaled by grade level. Please be sure to attend whichever best fits your family.
