Event Details:
Homeschool Days supports K-12 students and their families by integrating science, technology, engineering and mathematics (STEM) into exciting laboratory and classroom lessons. Participate in educator-led Science On a Sphere® presentations, Standards-based lessons and demonstrations, and theme-specific activities.
This month, we are celebrating World Space Week, which runs from October 4th – 10th. This year’s theme is “Space & Entrepreneurship,” so the Discovery Center will be exploring the facets of creating a business in space!
We will be hosting duplicate workshops in the morning and afternoon, scaled by grade level. Please be sure to attend whichever best fits your family!
10:30 a.m. – Science On a Sphere® presentation
11:00 a.m. – Design a Space Business Workshop (grades K-4)
1:30 p.m. – Science On a Sphere® presentation
2:00 p.m. – Design a Space Business Workshop (grades 5-12)
