Event Details:
Join us at the Space Foundation Discovery Center for an evening of looking to the stars and discovering the wonders of the universe. This event creates a fun learning environment for the whole family and inspires the next generation of astronomy enthusiasts!
Night Sky Viewing Outside: (weather permitting)
- Learn about the Partial Lunar Eclipse which happened overnight from Thurs into Fri
- Gaze at a near full moon through Moon filters
- Enjoy the Mobile Earth & Space Observatory (MESO)*
Inside:
- Science on a Sphere: Moon presentations
- El Pomar Space Gallery and Artifacts
- Battelle Underwater Drone Lab
- Space artifact Scavenger Hunt in our El Pomar Gallery
*MESO – the Mobile Earth & Space Observatory with their 12″ telescope and space-themed exhibit.
