Discovery Center Educator
Chloe Ellis is responsible for developing and implementing various Discovery Center STEAM programs, including Small Steps Giant Leap, Discover the Universe field trips, and the spring and summer Explore Space Experience weeklong adventures.
Prior to her work at Space Foundation, Chloe attended the University of Massachusetts Lowell where she received her bachelor’s degree in education and history. She has elementary classroom experience in both general and special education classrooms throughout Massachusetts and has developed youth leadership programs at the middle and high school level. She worked with the Tsongas Industrial History Center in Lowell, Massachusetts, where she helped redesign their museum curriculum in order to provide engaging and standards-based education to their visitors. Chloe enjoys combining her knowledge of education and space in order to expand Space Foundation’s ever-growing programs.
Outside of work, she enjoys exploring Colorado through weekend road trips, learning how to bake at high altitude, and marathon training for whatever race is up next.
