Director of Offsite Programs
As the Director of Offsite Programs at the Space Foundation, Alex Grab oversees a team dedicated to bringing space education beyond the walls of a classroom. She oversees multiple programs that connect students, educators, and communities with hands-on STEM experiences, whether through K-12 outreach, Space in the Community, audiences with a space professional, National Space Day, Leadership Academy, etc.
With over a decade of experience in education, Alex has taught writing and English, STEM and robotics, and outdoor education. She is currently pursuing a Doctor of Education (Ed.D.) in Leadership for Educational Equity, specializing in STEM education, at the University of Colorado Denver.
Outside of work, Alex enjoys hiking, snowboarding, and studying fungi as she explores amateur mycology.
Her focus is on leading teams, managing programs, and ensuring that offsite STEM education is impactful and accessible for students nationwide.
