Meet Alex Grab, a visionary force driving the fusion of STEM and entrepreneurship within the Space Foundation Leadership Academy. As a seasoned Education Program Manager, she leads the design and orchestration of innovative programs that seamlessly meld STEM principles with entrepreneurial spirit.
At the heart of Alex’s mission lies the creation and management of transformative initiatives within the Space Foundation Leadership Academy. These include Junior Space Entrepreneur Program (JSEP) catering to high school students, Cadet Space Explorer Program (CSEP) tailored for middle schoolers, and Pioneer Space & Earth Program (PSEP) designed for upper elementary students. Each program empowers students with the essential skills demanded by the STEM workforce, all while nurturing a profound sense of entrepreneurial professionalism through immersive project-based learning experiences.
Alex has worked in education for more than 10 years. Prior to working at Space Foundation, she taught writing and English, STEM and robotics, and outdoor education. Alex is currently pursuing her Doctor of Education in the Leadership for Educational Equity program, specializing in STEM education, at the University of Colorado Denver. When she isn’t at work or school, you’ll find her hiking, snowboarding, or studying to be an amateur mycologist.
