Education Program Manager
Alex Grab is responsible for implementing and facilitating a range of the Space Foundation’s formal space-inspired STEM educational programs including Junior Space Entrepreneur Program (JSEP) and development of Cadet Space Explorer Program (CSEP). These companion programs focus on the maturation of skills students need to enter the STEM workforce, while highlighting entrepreneurial professionalism through an immersive experience. Most recently, Grab became an Education Program Manager for Space Foundation where she serves as point of contact for current and future programming.
Prior to working at the Space Foundation, Alex spent five years teaching literacy to 6th-12th grade students. Alex also spent time working with a Lego affiliated startup teaching STEM and Robotics and sponsors an FLL team at her local elementary school. Most recently she taught high adventure and STEM based educational programming at outdoor education centers in both Pennsylvania and Colorado. Alex obtained her Bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education, with a focus in mathematics and literacy, and a Master’s degree as a Reading Specialist from Indiana University of Pennsylvania.
