Dr. Rochelle Abrams Space Across the Curriculum Educator Training Scholarship
Through a generous gift from Dr. Rochelle Abrams, the Space Foundation is excited to announce the Dr. Rochelle Abrams Space Across the Curriculum Educator Scholarship Training Program. Twenty two teachers from across the United States will have the opportunity to attend a four-day, fully scholarshiped, Space Across the Curriculum educator professional development workshop held at the Space Foundation Discovery Center in Colorado Springs, Colorado.
The scholarship will pay for (a value up to $2,500):

Travel to and from Colorado Springs (economy airfare),

Hotel accommodations (will be prearranged by the Space Foundation),

Meals,
-
Transportation to and from airport to hotel,

Transportation to and from hotel to the Space Foundation Discovery Center,

Tuition for the class, minus a $75 non-refundable processing fee,
-
All of the materials to teach and promote the content to your colleagues,

And a $500 stipend for completing the class and educating your colleagues. A simple survey must be completed to receive the stipend.
To apply for the Dr. Rochelle Abrams Scholarship, you must live outside 50 mile radius from the Space Foundation (in or out-of-state), complete the application form and submit at least a paragraph description of how you will use what you learn in your classroom and to support your educator colleagues. (In-state applicants will be given hotel and mileage, not airfare.)
