Celebrate May the Fourth Day with Space Foundation Discovery Center

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. — April 25, 2022 — Space Foundation, a nonprofit advocate organization founded in 1983 for the global space ecosystem, today announced that its Space Foundation Discovery Center will host May the Fourth Day on Saturday, April 30, 10 a.m.-4 p.m. Celebrate the Science of Star Wars throughout Space Foundation Discovery Center with hands-on activities, workshops and presentations.

Event: May the Fourth Day: The Science of Star Wars

Date: Saturday, April 30, 2022; 10 a.m.-4 p.m.

Venue: Space Foundation Discovery Center, Colorado Springs

Admission: Admission plus $5 materials fee

Activities*:

  • Mini lightsaber workshop for an additional $5 materials fee at 11 a.m. and 2 p.m.
  • Decorate baby Yoda cookies for an additional $5 materials fee at 12 p.m.
  • Science On a Sphere® presentation: The Worlds of Star Wars
  • Come dressed as your favorite Star Wars character
  • Photo opportunities and demonstrations with members of the 501st Legion
  • Fly the Kessel Run
