Everyone at the Space Foundation Discovery Center has gone MAD! For two days, guests are encouraged to come wearing their favorite space or science costume, and participate with us in some spacey fun for “Star Days: Mad Science.” Watch mad science movies, play space games, learn about famous science fiction authors and their characters and even make a little science of your own. Mad Science demonstrations will be available at 11 a.m. and 2 p.m. each day with special treat stations throughout the gallery.

The GalaxyFest team will stop by on Friday, Oct. 28, with an information table, crafts and treats.

“Star Days,” sponsored in part by Raytheon and Uwingu, are held one Saturday each month at the Discovery Center with a special space theme and extra activities appropriate for all ages. No advance registration is needed for these programs.

MARK YOUR CALENDARS! The December Star Days Theme is “A Galaxy Far, Far Away” and will feature a special viewing of Star Wars: The Force Awakens, Saturday, Dec. 3, at 11:00 a.m., included with regular Discovery Center admission.
