Explore Space Experience: Engineering for Space

Space exploration requires designing and building a lot of things--space suits, rockets, robots, and much more. Participants in this experience will learn about the design cycle, design and build prototypes, and test their inventions. Will your designs stand up to the harsh demands of space? Over the course of the week, we will engage in artistic crafts, games, experiments, coding and robotics, and engineering challenges.

Two Explore Space Experiences will be offered with challenges appropriate for each age group (6-8 and 9-12). Some activities will be done with both groups together, while others will be separate.
