Small Steps, Giant Leap: STEM Adventures for Little Space Explorers has been designed by the Space Foundation to engage early learners Prek-K from all backgrounds with a specific emphasis on Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM) education through interactive storytelling and hands-on lessons and activities. The lessons and activities have been designed specifically to align with Colorado’s Early Childhood Care and Education Science and Reading/Writing Standards.

Following the virtual reading of I Want to Be an Astronaut by Byron Brown, we will virtually lead a STEM activity related to the senses, and an astronaut craft.
