Did you know there was a “Galaxy Season?”
If you didn’t, don’t worry, you’re not alone. Most of us know about our favorite sports season, but astronomers and space enthusiasts also have a season – Galaxy Season.
From early March through May, we can see more galaxies in our telescopes because we are looking through a less dense area of the Milky Way.
Join us as we aim our telescopes at some of the most distant objects we can see with ‘backyard’ telescopes… Galaxies.

No fee for outdoor telescope viewing. Discovery Center indoor activities fee: half-price admission.
