Homeschool Days: Award-winning Author of 45+ STEM & STEAM books… Jennifer Swanson

The Discovery Center invites Homeschooling families and groups to join us the first Wednesday of each month as we bring your homeschooling students’ Science Standards to life throughout the Discovery Center. Each month has a unique theme.

One of the biggest challenges for Homeschooling families is how to effectively meet and teach Science Standards when the last time many adults performed a science experiment was when they were back in high school.

Have we got a SPECIAL day planned for Homeschool Day this month!? Award-winning STEM author Jennifer Swanson is joining us via Zoom (program changed 3/1/22 due to an illness). She’ll be sharing stories and activities from a few of her favorite books… Jen’s written 45+ books, mostly on STEM topics, to include a half dozen of them for National Geographic Kids!
