Space Education Specialist
Rachel Johnson is responsible for a range of Space Foundation educational programs that support science, technology, engineering, arts, and math (STEAM) for the Jr. Space Entrepreneur Program, as well as the Space Foundation Discovery Center’s public programming initiatives for students, teachers, and families.
Prior to working at the Space Foundation, Rachel taught high school Spanish in Jonesboro, Arkansas before moving to Colorado Springs where she taught Spanish to elementary K-5 students and worked as a Digital Technology Coach in Academy School District 20 in Colorado Springs, Colorado. Rachel also worked with various organizations to produce creative, entertaining, and educational video content for educators. Rachel has a bachelor’s degree in Spanish Education from Arkansas State University.
