Discovery Center Educator

Aimee Valliere is responsible for developing and implementing various Discovery Center STEM programs including Homeschool Days, Discover the Universe field trips, and the spring and summer Explore Space Experience weeklong adventures. Prior to her work at the Discovery Center, Aimee spent four years as an educator at Space Camp at the US Space and Rocket Center in Huntsville, AL. She is currently a student at the University of Arizona with a concentration in Geographic Information Systems and Computer Science.

Aimee is also involved with citizen science initiatives and is an active member of the International Institute of Astronautical Sciences, having participated in many research campaigns including a parabolic flight and space suit design research. She is also an artist, advanced PADI SCUBA diver, HAM radio operator, and a student pilot working towards her private pilot license.
